Ward Campout

We went on the ward camp out this last weekend, it was tons of fun! It was at Warm River which is right by Mesa Falls. We actually went to Mesa Falls on our first date, and we stopped at Warm River so it was pretty cool to go back. On Friday we had tin foil dinners and Eric and I decided to go gourmet. Eric loves fancy foods, he loves trying different spices and stuff, it's so cute, I love it. So anyways our tin foil dinners consisted of shrimp, sweet potaoes, garlic, carrots, regular potaoes, onions, green onions, and mine had italian dressing and chicken, and Erics had cream of mushroom soup, cheese and steak. Eric also threw some different seasonings on top but I have no clue what they were! Our tin foil dinners were huge! We ended up sharing our leftovers, everybody loved ours. Friday night it started raining on us! It was pretty cool just sitting around the fire in the rain. We decided to go up to Mesa Falls on Friday night right at dusk. We were so excited because we hadn't been back since our first date. By the time we got there it was pretty dark and I got so scared! I was seriously so jumpy and I think it took Eric all he had not to laugh out loud. He was sweet though and calmed my fears about the bears. We didn't end up going all the way down to the falls but seeing the mist coming off from it in the dark was pretty cool. We went back to the campsite and talked with people from the ward for awhile. We have such a great ward and are so lucky to have so many awesome friends. A little later we went to bed, in our sweet tent. We bought it to go hiking with. We still haven't went on a super long hike but we will. Our tent barely fits the two of us, and it looked so funny up next to all of the huge tents!

We went home early on Saturday morning. It was a great campout we had a blast!
